Bangladesh Alliance of Youth held a Global Climate Strike at the CRB Mukta Manch Square in Chattogram on 3rd March, 2023, to demand the fair rights of the affected countries and affected people due to climate change. With the support of YPSA and Save the Children, representatives of more than one hundred youth organizations of Chattogram joined the strike.
Slogans like “Now is the time to invest in sustainable renewable energy, not in harmful fossil fuel”, “Implement renewable energy policy for fuel security of Bangladesh”, “Establish climate justice” etc. were displayed. The program was concluded through various programs including human chain, rallies and oath taking.
